Wow what a great way to spend a Friday! In Science 10 we practiced the Scientific Method by performing an experiment to "suck" a shelled hard boiled egg into a narrow necked Erlenmeyer flask and then we performed a second experiment to remove the egg from the flask. In Biology 30, we tested foods for the presence of both starch and sugar and the results were amazing. Here are before and after photos of the monosaccharide test.
In Health Science 20, seeing how we are studying different medical knowledge systems, invited two guests into our class, Wendy Nesseth from Body Poetry Fitness and Tim Oehler from Harmony Massage. Wendy shared with us yoga, while Tim talked about both massage therapy and tai chi. Here are some photos from our class.
